Minority Report shot-by-shot analysis

This is a medium close up shot (MCU) where there are a couple of officers who look like they have found culprit and the culprit is trying to run away. I assume that the person they are trying to catch is powerful as there are several cops to catch one culprit.

This a wide shot (WS). There is  very cold and rusted car which looks like it was crashed. Also there is a human which looks like he was escaping some cops. From the figure of the humans body it looks like the he is trapped. We can see what seems to be some sort of garage where there are old nd rusty cars stored.

This is a close up (CU). We notice that he is standing to the side as if looking at someone walk away from him because they were in a fight. This screenshot suggests that he is about to say something or he about to take a deep breath as he was in a fight.

  1. WWW: You've identified the shots accurately and added some good analysis in places.
EBI: Always go into depth in your analysis. You mention the rusty car - what does that suggest to the audience about the location? What does it suggest about the upcoming scene? You can answer these in your LR...
LR: Why did the director choose the alleyway location for the rest of this scene? Think about what it might suggest to the audience.
